The Ohio Prospects League Pony 12u All League team won the Bronco 12u Zone Tournament in Peters Township, PA and will advance to the Bronco 12u World Series in Loredo, TX.

The team opened with a 12-1 victory against Grand Slam baseball.  Keniel Lauger homered and drove in 6 runs and Kellen DeSimone also homered.

In the winner's bracket game, the OPL beat the Peters Township Indians 17-9.  There were three more home runs by the OPL team-- Yadian Oliveras, Nick LaBahn, and Eric Rus.

In the championship game, the OPL team again faced Peters Twp.  The OPL team got off to a quick 9-2 lead with back to back to back homers from Keniel Lauger, Carter Beck, and Nick LaBahn.  and a 3 run homer by Eric Rus.  

Peters Twp came back to tie the game in the bottom of the 4th inning scoring 7 runs and tying the game 9-9.  Then in the top of the fifth, the OPL All League team scores 10 runs fueled by a three run homer by Brady Rhodes.   The OPL team held Peters scoreless in the bottom of the fifth.  The game ended with a score of 19-9.

The team will fly out to Loredo, TX on Wednesday to represent the Eastern portion of the United States in the 12u Bronco World Series.  Congratulations!
