Dear Coaches,

The 5th Annual Ohio Prospects League Spring Tournament will be Friday, May 19th to Sunday, May 21st.  The tournament is officially named the Greater Cleveland Spring Championship Tournament.

The tournament is a 5 Tool Baseball State Qualifier.

Three game minimum.  Individual awards and a team trophy for winners and runners up of each division.

WHAT IS THIS TOURNAMENT?

One of the benefits of playing in the Ohio Prospects League is that you have an opportunity to play in the OPL Spring Tournament.  

The tournament is optional.  You must let the league know that you are interested as it is available first come first serve.  We have opened the tournament up to non-league teams that will pay a little more to be in the tournament.

WHERE?

The 9u to 14u games will be played at Victory Park, Maplewood and other locations.

DIVISIONS

The OPL Tournament will be broken by age group 9u-14u.  In addition, there may be Major and Minor divisions set up depending on the number of teams registered.   Each division winner and runnerup will receive individual awards and a team trophy.

TOURNAMENT FEE

All tournaments that you participate in are set up to profit the tournament.  For the OPL Tournament, the league teams that are participating in the tournament will split up the field costs and pay umpire fees on the field.  The winners and runner up at each division will get a team trophy and individual medals.  

Tournament fee for 9u-13u  $185,  14u $195.

Also, the OPL will give a full refund of field costs if the tournament is rained out.  And if the tournament is not completed because of weather, we give back the cost of the games not played.  In other words, you only pay for what you play.  Most tournaments nowadays do not provide any refund unless teams get no games in.
