Scott Koenig will be Inducted into the Greater Akron Baseball Hall of Fame on July 24th 2015 at Canal Park in Akron, Ohio.

Scott is a 1979 graduate Nordonia High School 2 year varsity letter winner.Starting fifth season as a Recommending Scout for the Cincinnati Reds covering Northeast Ohio territory.

Starting 25th year in the Roy Hobbs league.  Led the 35 and over division in home runs at age 53 in 2014 season.  15 time all-star, played on and managed 7 championship teams in the Akron league and 3 championships at the Roy Hobbs World Series in Fort Myers, FL.

High School Coach for 15 years- served as an assistant at Akron Firestone, Lakewood St. Edwards, and as a head coach at Archbishop Hoban and Nordonia.  Was 2011 NOC Lake Conference coach of the Year after guiding Nordonia to an undefeated conference season and taking the team to a sectional championship and into the District playoffs for the first time in 23 years.

 Hitting and Pitching instructor for Playball Academy in Stow, Oh.  Co-director of yearly summer baseball camps for ages 8-14 in Stow and Steubenville, OH.

International Instructor and board member for Meeting God in Baseball working baseball clinics in the Dominican Republic on annual trips in January.

 Summer travel ball coach for past 12 years.

 Among the dozens of kids I have coached that went on to play college baseball, two have been drafted by MLB.
